I work with fish and fishing boats and fishermen. When I first started the job, I found everything amazing; to some extent I still do, but it gets a bit like being on holiday and seeing your first lizard. After a few days it's "ooh, another lizard". I thought sharing some of the things I see would be nice for people who do not get to see them first hand.
An oilfish.
The oilfish is a species of snake mackerel found in the Mediterranean, middle Atlantic and throughout the southern seas, it lives at depths between 100 and 800 m.
